Project details:
For three years, LTG Associates, Inc., was the National Program Office (NPO) for Strengthening What Works (SWW), Preventing Intimate Partner Violence in Immigrant and Refugee Communities, a national initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. As the NPO, LTG worked with select RIM-serving organizations that developed community level interventions designed to prevent intimate partner violence (IPV). LTG designed and conducted an evaluability assessment, designed and delivered tailored technical assistance and capacity-building support, and designed and delivered group trainings. As the NPO, LTG worked with grantees to build their capacity to evaluate their programs, and by collaborating with them to evaluate those programs. LTG worked with each grantee to develop individual grantee case studies and then to provide an overarching analysis of the initiative experience and outcomes of the efforts. As a forward-looking element of the SWW initiative, LTG developed learning collaboratives designed to fill a need in IPV prevention; to move evaluation findings into evidence-based practice by engaging immigrant and refugee community stakeholders in a process of refining, implementing, and evaluating promising or innovative prevention activities.
