HIV/AIDS Bureau Contract

LTG held a three-year task order contract with the HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) at the Health Resources and Services Administration in the Federal Department of Health and Human Services.  As part of its work, LTG provided management development, and systems and program development; two task orders are described below.

• LTG provided technical assistance, through analysis of draft grievance and nominations procedures, to Ryan White Care Act (RWCA) Titles I and II Grantees and Planning Councils.  Procedures were reviewed and analyzed, reporting was provided to senior Division management, and recommendations were implemented. 
• LTG Associates facilitated meetings and developed field-focused documents on current topics, including: planning and managing programs with increased need and flat or reduced funding; managing the AIDS Drug Assistance Program for jurisdictions in a dynamic resources environment; and, coping with increasingly important and expensive drugs in the context of sometimes conflicting needs for drug support in different populations.
